Rates, Reservations & Hotel Policies

Hotel Policies

  • Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am
  • Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Children 12 years of age and younger stay free
  • Parking is complimentary, 1 vehicle per reservation (plug-ins available)
  • The first nights room rate and tax are processed upon booking
  • A $200 pre-authorization is due at the time of check-in by a personal credit card. Cash or debit paying guests must provide a $200 cash deposit.
  • For direct bookings, cancellation notice of 48 hours is required, else one night’s room and tax are retained
  • 14 days cancellation notice is required for any reservations booked through any other third party booking site (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.)
  • Mountaineer Lodge hotel is a smoke-free, vape-free property, including public areas
  • A minimum two-night stay may apply to select Canadian statutory holidays
  • The Mountaineer Lodge is a dog-friendly hotel in Lake Louise (select room type only, advanced booking required)


Dogs Can Stay Policy

Your dog is part of the family, we get it! They deserve a vacation in the mountains too. The Mountaineer Lodge offers six dog-friendly rooms, on the ground floor, at our Lake Louise hotel. Advanced booking for your stay with your dog in a dog-friendly room is required.

Our One Queen Guest Room with Sofabed is a dog-friendly room type located in the Timber Building only on the ground floor for easy access to the outdoors so your dog doesn't have to go up and down any stairs.

Dog-friendly rooms are limited and must be booked in advance.
Pet charges apply.
Guests are asked to sign off on our "Dogs Can Stay" policy below upon check-in.

Best Rate Guarantee: We work hard to ensure that our website offers the best rates. However, if you find a lower rate online we will happy to match that rate – please give us a call direct. To qualify the rate you found please provide the exact website address and selected dates. Rates will be qualified by Reservations Agent and must be in Canadian funds.
