Booking policies
Book direct for the best rate and the most flexibility. Our team is always available to help.
Book direct and save 10%, If you find a lower rate online, call us and we'll match it. Provide the exact website and dates and our reservations team will quality the rate in Canadian funds.
- Deposit
The first night's room rate and tax are processed at the time of booking.
- Children
Children 12 years of age and younger stay free.
- Room rates
Room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests ages 13 and over are $30 per person per night.
- Statutory holidays
A minimum two-night stay applies to most Canadian statutory holidays.
Reservation policies
Cancellation terms very depending on how you booked. Direct bookings offer the most flexibility.
- Cancellation (direct)
48 hours notice required for bookings made directly with Mountaineer Lodge.
Cancellations inside 48 hours will result in one night's room rate and tax being retained.- Cancellation (third party)
14 days notice required for reservations booked through Expedia, Booking com,
Hotels.com. or any other third-party booking site.- No-show
In the event of a no-show, the balance of the reservation wil be charged in full.
- Pre-authorization
A $200 pre-authorization is required at check-in by personal credit card. Cash or debit guests must provide a $200 cash deposit.
- Minimum age
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check in and stay at Mountaineer Lodge.
Hotel stay policies
A few things to know for a comfortable stay, for you and your fellow guests.
- Check-in
Check-in time is 4:00 pm.
- Check-out
Check-out time is 11:00 am.
- Smoke and vape free
Mountaineer Lodge is a smoke-free and vape-free property, including all public areas.
- Parking
Complimentary parking for one vehicle per room reservation. Plug-in stations are available.
Dogs Can Stay policy
We welcome dogs et Mountaineer Lodge in our six dedicated dog-friendly rooms in the Timber Building. Advanced booking is required
- Pet fee
$30 plus applicable taxes, per dog per stay.
- Maximum dogs
Up to 2 dogs per room, each weighing 40 kg (88 lbs) or less.
- Permitted rooms
Dog-friendly rooms in the Timber Building only. Dogs are not permitted in any other rooms, suites, food and beverage areas, or the pool area.
- Unattended dogs
Dogs cannot be left unattended for more than 60 minutes. Contact information must be provided to the Front Desk.

Late check-out is subject to availability. Please ask at the Front Desk the evening before or morning of your departure, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Your room may not be ready before check-in time, but you are welcome to arrive early. The Front Desk can store your luggage, and you can use the lobby lounge while you wait. We'll text or call you as soon as your room is ready.
Contact the Front Desk as early as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and current rates will apply for any additional nights.
Third-party platforms such as Expedia and Booking.com set their own cancellation windows, which are typically longer. Booking directly with us gives you a shorter 48-hour cancellation window and access to our best rate guarantee.
