Mountaineer Lodge is a family-owned, independent hotel in the village of Lake Louise, inside Banff National Park. We're hiring year round, and subsidized staff accommodation is available for team members who need it.

Maintenance Technician
Maintains guest rooms, mechanical systems, and grounds at a family-owned hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta. Requires a Class 5 licence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms, common areas, mechanical systems, grounds, and staff housing
- Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC support
- Run the preventative maintenance schedule and respond to work orders
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures
- Manage snow removal and grounds work through the seasons
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, trade certificate or related experience an asset
- Working knowledge of general building trades, with the ability to learn on the job
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Front Desk Agent
Handles check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest requests at the front desk of an independent hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Manage check-ins and check-outs
- Take reservations by phone and email
- Handle wake-up calls, luggage, and guest requests
- Solve problems on the spot and keep every stay running smoothly
Qualifications
- Strong spoken English
- Comfortable handling cash and credit transactions
- Basic computer skills, our front desk runs on WebRezPro
- A second language is a bonus, especially German, Dutch, French, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese
Room Attendant
Cleans and prepares guest rooms at Mountaineer Lodge, a hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta. No experience required, training provided.
Responsibilities
- Make beds, vacuum, dust, and clean guest rooms
- Handle laundry and general upkeep
- Help with breakfast duties as needed
Qualifications
- No experience necessary, we'll train you
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- A team player who takes pride in the details
Breakfast Room Attendant
Stocks and maintains the breakfast room, buses tables, and assists guests each morning at Mountaineer Lodge in Lake Louise, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Keep the breakfast room stocked throughout the shift
- Bus tables and clean up once breakfast wraps
- Chat with guests and flag low supplies to your supervisor
- Help other departments as needed
