One King Room with Sofabed
Ground floor, Timber Building, exterior entrance. Park, walk straight to your door, no stairs and no elevator to navigate. One king bed with a pillow-top mattress plus a pull-out sofa, sleeps up to four, kids of any age welcome. The walk-in roll-in shower and grab bars mean you can get ready for your day without planning around your bathroom.

Getting Around the Property
Mountaineer Lodge has two buildings: the Main Lodge and the Timber Building. The accessible room is in the Timber Building, which has exterior corridor access. You park, walk directly to your room, and never need to use an elevator or navigate interior stairs.
Parking
Free on-site parking is included with every stay. Designated accessible parking stalls are located just outside the Timber Building entrance. The Timber Building entrance is paved and includes a ramp from the parking area.
Check-in
Check-in is at the Main Lodge lobby, across the parking lot from the Timber Building.
The Main Lodge lobby is step-free and accessible for wheelchair users.
No Elevator on Property
The Timber Building and the Main Lodge both have two guest room floors, accessible by stairs and no elevator.
The accessible room, ski storage, vending machines and laundry are all located on the main floor of the Timber Building.
Hot Tub and Steam Room
The indoor hot tub and steam room are located in the Main Lodge, just off to the right of the lobby and open daily 8 am to 10 pm. The steam room is roll-in accessible and there are two free-standing railings to enter and exit the hot tub. There is substantial room all around the hot tub.
Breakfast
The breakfast room is located on the lower level of the Timber Building and the only way to access it is to go down the stairs. If you would like to take advantage of our onsite guest breakfast ($25/person), your party can send one member to pick up breakfast to bring back for everyone to eat in your room.
Alternatively, please inform the Guest Services Team if you require assistance with breakfast arrangements.
Occupancy
The accessible room sleeps up to 4 guests and welcomes children of any age. It is not pet-friendly. Guests traveling with a service animal should call our front desk at 1-855-556-8473 to confirm arrangements ahead of arrival.

Not every trail in the park is accessible, and we will always tell you the truth about that. Parks Canada maintains accessibility details for trails and park facilities at parks.canada.ca, and our Guest Services team is happy to help you figure out what fits your trip before you arrive. This is your park too. We want you to see as much of it as you can.
