WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Parks Canada is undertaking important improvements on Lake Louise Drive starting Tuesday, May 21, and continuing until fall 2024. The construction includes paving and enhancements to ensure safety and accessibility for over one million vehicles each year. These updates are critical for maintaining infrastructure and improving pedestrian and cyclist safety.
CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE AND IMPACT
Planned Dates for Construction: Tuesday, May 21, 2024 to Fall 2024
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to approximately 9 PM.
- No Work on Long Weekends: To ensure minimal disruption during peak times.
- Night Work: Scheduled to reduce daytime traffic impacts.
- Traffic Adjustments: Expect single-lane alternating traffic and potential delays of up to 30 minutes. Peak periods may see longer delays.
- Traffic Management: Enhanced with traffic personnel to monitor and minimize congestion.
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY STAY?
